Harold Joseph “Joe” Morgan, 74, was born May 8, 1946 and passed away March 21, 2021, at home, with loved ones holding his hand.
Joe was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He knew how to make people laugh; he would carry on a conversation with anyone about anything.
Joe served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Mallory Timers for 30 years in the tool and die room.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Morgan and Lorene Rackley Perks; brothers, Virgil Morgan, Daniel Morgan; and son, Raymond Morgan.
Left to carry on his memory are his wife of 42 years, Lisa Morgan; son, Richard Morgan; daughter, Kimberly Morgan (Rackley); grandchildren, Nicolas Morgan, Promise Graham, Asher Rackley, inherited granddaughter, Skyler Morgan; brother, Leroy Morgan, of Washington, Missouri; plus numerous family and friends that he also loved and cherished the time and memories he shared.
Also, a special heartfelt thank you to from his family to Avalon Hospice nurses and service and for each and every prayer and thought of love, everyone’s support, and all the amazing food everyone has brought to us.
Cremation was chosen by Joe, with a memorial service at 2 p.m., April 10, 2021, at Thurman Funeral Home.
