White County, state, and local officials will gather at the Hörmann facility located at 450 Airport Road across from Fitzgerald Industrial Park on Friday, Oct. 23. The program kicking off the grand-opening celebration will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a guided tour of the new production facility. Both events are open to the public.
On Oct. 5, 2027, Hörmann LLC officials announced the company would invest nearly $64 million to establish a new manufacturing facility in Sparta.
Headquartered in Germany, Hörmann is a leading manufacturer of building entry systems. Hörmann produces a wide variety of garage doors for residential and commercial buildings. Founded in 1935, Hörmann is a family owned and operated company and serves customers in more than 60 countries. This will be their fifth facility in North America.
