James Ernest "Rabbit" Simmons, 91, of Spencer, passed from this life Oct. 16, 2021, at his home in Spencer.
Mr. Simmons was born April 25, 1930, in Madison, Alabama, the son of Eston Simmons and Daisy Yates Simmons.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Oct. 18, 2021, at Spencer Funeral Home, with burial in Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation will be 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Oct. 18, at the funeral home.
Spencer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
