James Lee Jackson, 61, passed away peacefully, on Feb. 22, 2023, at his home, in Rock Island.
He was born Aug. 24, 1961, in Warren County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Howard Jackson and Opal Imogene Baksa.
He is survived by his children, James Apollo Jackson, Jamie Jackson Chambers; four grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Freeman, Delena Nash (James); and his best friend of 34 years, Linda Crockett.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Feb. 26, 2023, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. James Nash officiated.
Pallbearers were Tim Baksa, J.J. Baksa, Vernon Wilson, Logan Merriman, Luke Nash, and Jeff Fisk .
