James Robert Hayden Jr., 64, of Doyle, passed away June 3, 2023, at his home.
He was born July 16, 1958, in Muncie, Indiana. James was the son of Robert Hayden Sr. and Marcia Conley Hayden.
James served in the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician Third Class. He served on submarines.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Bradley, and his granddaughter, Josie Cranfill.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Hayden, of Doyle; daughters,
Diane Cranfill (Matt), of Texas, Jennifer Wells, of Indiana; grandchildren, Christian, Cydni, Dillon, Courtney, Chyanne, Lexi, Logan, Brianne; great-grandchildren, Adin, Isaiah, Izzy, Grayson, Braxton; sisters, Cindy Cliche (Kevin), Jennifer Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., June 9, 2023, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., June 9, at the funeral home.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
