Janis Lynn Mason, 79, a Quebeck resident and Warren County native, was born Dec. 9, 1941 and died Sept. 8, 2021, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, in Sparta, following an extended illness.
She was a retired inspector with Wagner Electric, a member of the Church of Christ, and the daughter of Will Ed and Josie McGregor Warren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Edward “Sonny” Warren Jr., and two brothers-in-law, Charles McBride and Sonny Roberts.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband, James Robert “Jimmy” Mason, of Quebeck; three children and their spouses, Byron (Sharron) Mason, of Walling, Janet (Tracy) Kirby, of Sparta, Barry Edward (Debbie) Mason, of Walling; five grandchildren, Mary Beth (Adam) Price, Tisha (Will) Pelfrey, Beka (Josh) Christy, Tyler (Michelle) Mason, Trey Kirby; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Melba McBride, of Tullahoma, Kay Hobbs and husband Richard, of McMinnville, Queita Roberts, of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Sept. 12, 2021, at High Funeral Home, in McMinnville, with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, in White County. Bro. Eugene Lawson officiated.
High Funeral Home, in McMinnville, was in charge of arrangements.
