Jimmy Clay Allison, 79, passed away Nov. 20, 2024, at Signature Health Care, in Algood.
He was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Putnam County, to Hershel and Agnes Allison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Edward Allison; and sister, Janice Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Allison; son, Tim (Trevanda) Allison; granddaughter, Macee Allison; grandson, Chance Howell; brothers, Freeman (Nell) Allison, Bob Allison; and several nephews and cousins.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Nov. 24, 2024, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Davis Cemetery. Barry Whiteaker officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
