Joy Elaine Wallace Webb, 65, of Sparta, passed away May 17, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 22, 1957, in Sparta, the daughter of Gerald and Virginia Stacy Wallace.
Joy was a former deputy court clerk for White County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Wallace; grandparents, Smith and Montie Wallace; grandmother, Bess Rowland; grandfather, Estell Porter Stacy; and step-grandfather, L. S. Rowland.
Surviving family members include her husband, Robert Michael Webb, of Sparta; sisters, Pat Bennett (Jerry), Donna Jones (Eric), Jan Locke (Kenny), all of Sparta; several nieces and nephews she loved tremendously; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, one great-great-niece, and one great-great-nephew.
Joy also leaves behind numerous friends and neighbors.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., May 21, 2013, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Doyle Cemetery. Doug Benningfield and Jimmy Jack Walker officiated.
Pallbearers were Holden Null, Daniel Martin, Adam Jones, Jonathan Qualls, Chuck Wallace, and Randy Wallace.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
