Julia Faye “Judy” Pepper Bray, 83, a former resident of White County, passed away May 27, 2021, at Poplar Estates Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, in Columbia, Tennessee, where she had been a resident for six years.

She was born June 9, 1937, in Limestone County, Alabama, to Clara McMunn Pepper and William Pepper.

She graduated from East Limestone High School and Freed-Hardeman College.

She was the wife of Kenneth Bray and the mother of four children: Malinda Ivey, of Nashville, Amy Sentell, of Maryville, Celia Owens, of Columbia, and Kenneth Bray Jr., of Cleveland. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In her youth, she was baptized into Christ by Ira North and remained a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

 Special appreciation is extended to the staff of Poplar Estates and to Compassus Hospice for their wonderful care. No service is planned at this time.

 Williams Funeral Home, in Columbia, is assisting the family with arrangements.
