Karl E. Slatton, 90, passed away Nov. 26, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, in Murfreesboro.
He was born April 27, 1934, in Van Buren County, to Russell Tullos and Ova E. McCoy Slatton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jewelene Lunas Slatton, Russell W. Slatton, and Dale Slatton.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Slatton; children, Pamela Slatton, Vanessa Young, Benjie Slatton; grandchildren, Joseph Young, Joey (Amber) Young, Brandy (Colby) Jagnandan, Ashley (Jason) Del Toro, Joshua Howell, Tosha Howell, Jonathon (Macey) Slatton, Nikki Slatton, Mykaela Slatton, Mykenzie Slatton, Bree Slatton, Braelyn Slatton; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Teddy R. Slatton, Jennie Cravin Slatton, Janie Brymer Slatton, and Joanie Troglen Slatton.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
