Kathy Ann Jones Zent, 67, passed away May 27, 2021, at Smith County Health and Rehab, in Carthage.
Mrs. Zent was born Jan. 25, 1954, in Gary, Indiana, to A.J. and Jewel Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond T. Zent; sisters, Sherry Jones, April Jones Brady; and brothers, Jim, Rick Carter, and Ernest Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Simmons; son, Austin Zent; granddaughter, Allie (Hunter) Tryon; great-grandson, Lucas Tryon; sisters, Lora (Allen) Jones, Lisa (Richard) Darrow; brothers, David Jones, Steve Carter; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., June 1, 2021, at Thurman Funeral home. The family will receive friends noon-2 p.m., June 1, at the funeral home.
