Kyle Frazier & Tree Works caught doing good deed

Cemetery in Hickory Valley community cleaned

Recently, Kyle Frazier, owner of Tree Works, was caught with his crew and trucks on private property, in the Hickory Valley area, on a mission to help his community without recognition. However, a resident in the area saw the selfless gesture and informed The Expositor.

Frazier said he and his crew had some free time, so he decided to put everyone to work cleaning up a cemetery located on McBride Road. According to Frazier, the area had become overgrown and hazardous for people to visit.

“It’s an older family cemetery, and I know that some of the older generations in the community like to go and visit the graves there,” Frazier said and admitted he didn’t know if he actually had any family buried in the cemetery located on the Passons farm.

Trees had grown up around the cemetery, and Frazier and his crew trimmed them back, cleared some of the trees that were in the way, and mowed the plot.

“We didn’t’ do it for advertisement or a pat on the back,” Frazier, who doesn’t want to be paid for the work, commented. “I just saw that it needed to be done, and we had some time to kill.”

Al Klee, who lives across the street noticed the trucks in the cemetery and went to investigate. He was pleased to see Frazier taking care of the land.

“It is always wonderful to see community spirit in action,” he said. “Kudos to Kyle and his crew.”
