L.C. Miller, 91, passed away Aug. 22, 2022.
He was one of 15 children born to Cleo and Loyd Miller. He was born on Nov. 9, 1930.
L.C. was raised in LaFollette, Tennessee. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was married to Jewell Miller, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2016.
L.C. will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and the ability to make people laugh. He spent 30 years in Sparta, then moved to Florida for retirement and to spend time with his daughters and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Beverly Rhoden, of Clermont, Florida, Janice Gassett, of Keystone Heights, Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
There will be a dual memorial service at Baker's Forge Cemetery near LaFollette, in August 2023, for those who wish to attend.
