Life Care conducting fundraiser for Alzheimer’s of Tennessee

The Terrace at Life Care Center of Sparta will be creating and publishing a cookbook this year as their main fundraiser for Alzheimer’s of Tennessee.

 This cookbook will include recipes from their residents, family members, staff, and the surrounding community. Everyone is invited to share a favorite recipe. If anyone is a caregiver to a family member or has a family member who passed away from Alzheimer’s/dementia, please share favorite recipes to be included in the cookbook.

If the person has passed away, please include a cross on the recipe page beside their name. If there is a fond memory to share about the recipe, that memory can be shared up to three lines below the recipe submitted.

Please submit recipes by Aug. 15, 2021. The cookbooks will be available to purchase for $12 each.  Recipes can be dropped off with the Life Care Center of Sparta receptionist or mail them to 508 Mose Dr., Sparta, Tennessee 38583. 

All of the money raised from the cookbooks will go to Alzheimer’s of Tennessee. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Tennesseans.

Cookbooks should be available to purchase the third week in October. These will make great Christmas gifts.
