Linda Jo Dishmon-Hall was born in Fentress County, on Jan. 4, 1954. She was the daughter of Onie Eugene Dishmon and Wilda Mae Cobb Dishmon.

After spending her early years in the Sharp Place community, she met and married the love of her life, Dallas Dale Hall.

Linda Jo and Dale moved to Sparta, where they settled and raised their family. After having their two daughters, Lacey and Allison, Linda Jo became a homemaker and found joy in caring for her family. She and Dale loved to travel together, leaving many great memories of camping, beach time, and road trips with friends and family. As a creative and talented seamstress and artist, she took pleasure in her crafty creations. However, her true gift and talent was caring for others. She gave selflessly in order to care for and show her love to her family. This is evident by the special bond she had with her children, nieces, and grandchildren. After many years of struggling with health issues, Linda Jo took her last breath of life in this world, on Oct. 4, 2020, and entered a new world with no pain and suffering.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Wilda Dishmon; infant sister, Wanda; brother, Pete; brother-in-law, Bobby Griffith; and nephew, Andrew.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Dale Hall; daughters,  Lacey Price and husband Seth, Allison Keith and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Bryson Keith, and Shaylee and Barrett Price; sister, Brenda Griffith and her daughter Jessee; brothers, Randy Dishmon and his daughter Sandy, Danny Dishmon and wife Diane; special sister-in-law, Ruth Conatser; as well as many other in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Oak Lawn Funeral Home 4-8 p.m., Oct. 6, 2020. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Oct. 7, at Springs Chapel Cemetery, in Fentress County, with Bro. Seth Price officiating.
