Linda Lou Bussell Sparkman, 66, of Doyle, passed away Jan. 21, 2021, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital, in McMinnville.
Mrs. Sparkman was born June 23, 1954, in Sparta, to Ardin Bussell and Geneva Richardson Bussell.
She was a loving homemaker and mother to all who were raised in her neighborhood. She loved to crochet and won countless blue ribbons for her work, both at state and local fairs. Many of her patterns have been published in various publications, including Crochet Magic. Her favorite was to crochet doilies and blankets for her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Hilari Sparkman Vu, on May 12, 2020, and siblings Brenda Jean Bussell and Gary Wayne Bussell.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Steve Sparkman; daughter, Hollie Bachoy and husband Igor; grandchildren, David, Isabella, Victoria, Ava, Onyx, Kasadi and fiancé Mason, Olivia, Malasia; sisters, Shirley Bevard, Nora Kuchna; and brother, James “Ardie” Bussell
Graveside service was 2 p.m., Jan. 24, 2021, at Highland Cemetery. Chris Sparkman officiated.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
