She was born Oct. 22, 1970, in Lapeer, Michigan.

She was the daughter of William and Linda Caskey; the loving significant other of Chuck Bos; the loving mother of Kensey Geer (Seth Weston), Kristina (Josh) Lewis, and Benjamin Bos; the loving grandmother of Bradyn and Aubree Geer, Aleigha Weston, Carlie and Callie Lewis, and Caden Mitchell, all of Sparta; the loving sister of Dale (Ariane) Caskey, of Sparta, Kirk (Andrea) Caskey, of Cookeville; and the loving aunt of Tori (Jacob) and Addison Bouldin, Allison, Gage, Chase, and Cruze Caskey, all of Sparta, and Christian, Cameron, and Bentley Caskey, all of Cookeville. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Ms. Caskey loved children and followed in her mother's footsteps to become a teacher. She was a graduate of TTU and obtained her master’s degree in education. She taught at Cassville Elementary, in Sparta, and was a principal at Heritage Christian Academy. She also worked for the State of Tennessee's Department of Human Services. She was heavily involved with autistic students in Tennessee schools. She taught GED skills to drug and alcohol recovery participants. She was devoted to God and teaching children's church and Vacation Bible School.

Ms. Caskey entered into heaven with thanksgiving and praise, to forever be surrounded by the joy of the Lord.

In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests memory gifts or donations to the Lisa Caskey Grandchildren College Fund, in care of Volunteer Christian Academy. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
