A beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Logan Jade Bohannon, left this world too soon, on June 13, 2021.
Jade was born Dec. 6, 1995, in Livingston. She was the daughter of Carrie Simpson Massa (Duane Leftwich), of Sparta, and Jason Bohannon (Kim), of Algood.
Jade’s smile lit up any room she walked into. Those she met along the way will miss her engaging personality, ability to make people laugh, and loyalty to her friends. Her beautiful soul surpassed her striking physical beauty. Jade believed herself to be blessed by her children, the true loves of her life. Jade blessed the life of her family and friends. When you remember Jade, celebrate the good times.
Jade was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Davison Jr.
In addition to her parents, Jade leaves behind her children, John Princeton Bohannon, Gabrielle Ja'zelle Scott; brothers, Caleb King, Daylyn Martin, Gavin Bohannon; sisters, Ladaja Martin, Hope Bohannon; grandparents, Donna Simpson, John Massa, Billie Bohannon, Mattie Wood, Stephen Chapman; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Bohannon; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Celebration of the life of Logan Jade Bohannon will be 1 p.m., June 18, 2021, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, in Sparta. The family will greet friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., June 18, at the funeral home. A private burial will follow the service at Elrod Cemetery, in Sparta.
The family welcomes everyone but encourages those who are susceptible to COVID-19 to express their condolences in a safer way.
