Louis Rex Mann, 91, passed away July 21, 2020.
Mr. Mann was born April 18, 1929, in Lovettsville, Virginia, to Louis and Mary Mann.
He was a Korean War veteran and was proud of his service to his country. He was also a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He was a member of the White County Amateur Radio Club. Mr. Mann loved planting a large garden and enjoying the fruits of his labor. He was always ready to go fishing - he loved catching those bass on Center Hill Lake.
Mr. Mann was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patsy Mann; and brothers, Gene Mann and Stanley Mann.
Survivors include his children, Jeanie Elizabeth Blankenship, of Murfreesboro, Brenda Alberta Kelsey, of Richmond, Virginia, Louis Rex Mann Jr., of Cookeville, Lona Ann Cothran, Cookeville; sister, Mary Alice Sigler, of Boonsboro, Maryland; brothers, Roy Mann, Whitney Mann, Glenn Mann, all of Boonsboro, Maryland; four grandchildren, Chris, Eric, Phillip, Amy; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral was noon, July 25, 2020, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Saylors Cemetery.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
