Manuel Lewis Copeland, 75, of the Hickory Valley community of White County, passed away, May 4, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Copeland was born Aug. 6, 1945, in White County, to Charlie Clarence Copeland and Ozell Thompson Copeland.

He was a graduate of White County High School and retired from Fleetguard and Thomas Industries.

In addition to being an avid fisherman, Mr. Copeland was well known for his farming and gardening skills.

He is lovingly survived by his wife of 54 years, Beverly Hodge Copeland; sons, Tony (Mindy) Copeland, Jeff (Miya) Copeland, Clint (Kerrie) Copeland; grandchildren, Kerrie Copeland, Ally (Japheth) Henegar, Dylan Copeland, Mallie Copeland, Kami Clark, Khloe Hunt, Kashton Copeland; great-grandchild, Nolan Henegar; sisters, Margaret (Harvie) Johnson, Cathy Copeland Geer; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Copeland (wife of his brother, Curtis, who passed away only two days after Lewis.)

Funeral service will 1 p.m., May 7, 2021, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Copeland Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., May 7, at the funeral home. Jerry Pullum will officiate.

Dylan Copeland, Japheth Henegar, Mike Wilson, Mason Geer, Kevin Cash, and Johnny Sherrell will serve the family as pallbearers.

Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
