Melissa DeBerry, age 63, a Rutherford County resident, passed away June 16, 2020, at Saint Thomas West Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Mrs. DeBerry was born Sept. 23, 1956, the daughter of Powell Lewis and Dorothy Walene Underwood Barlow.
She was an auditor and a member of Walter Hill Church of Christ.
Mrs. DeBerry was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Barlow.
Survivors include her husband, Gary DeBerry, of Murfreesboro; five children, Shannon DeBerry, of Murfreesboro, Jason (Brooke) DeBerry, of Murfreesboro, Mandy (Scott) Wilson, of Quebeck, Meredith (Josh) Mitchell, of Murfreesboro, April (Jordan) Pack, of Auburntown; grandchildren, Katy, Kayla, Logan, Mason, Abby, Elora, Ezra; great-grandchild, Leighton; and many friends she considered family.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., June 20, 2020, at High Funeral Home, in McMinnville, with burial in Preston Heights Cemetery, in Quebeck. Norris DeBerry officiated.
High Funeral Home, in McMinnnville, was in charge of arrangements.
