Mildred Jewel Sullivan Bumbalough, 78, passed away Sept. 12, 2020, at Bethesda Health Care, in Cookeville.

Mrs. Bumbalough was born Dec. 12, 1941, in Spencer, to Ollie Dave Sullivan and Lennie Mae Hale Sullivan.

She was a former airport waitress at West Palm Beach Airport, in Florida.  It was a good fit for her because she always enjoyed talking to people and never met a stranger.  Her passion in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald V. Bumbalough, who passed away Aug. 1, 2010.

Survivors include her daughter Diane (Billy) Ferrell, of Rock Island; grandchildren, Tiffany (Shane) Hutton, of Cookeville, Travis Haston; great-grandchildren, Hailey Hutton, Bri Hutton, Maylee Haston, Braxton Haston, Colt Haston, Maverick Haston; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Bradley, of Ohio

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sept. 14, 2020, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 11 a.m-1 p.m., Sept. 14, at the funeral home. Johnny Haston will officiate.
