Brittany Dennis Agee, of Gainesboro, has officially been named as the new manager of Sparta’s Oak Lawn Funeral Home

Agee is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2017 graduate of John A. Gupton Mortuary College. She is a licensed funeral director, licensed embalmer, certified crematory operator, licensed life insurance agent, pre-need sales agent, and cemetery sales and monument sales associate.

Agee serves as the president of Upper Cumberland Funeral Directors Association. She brings several years of experience to the manager role at Oak Lawn. Agee said she is excited about her future at Oak Lawn and looks forward to serving the families of Sparta and White County.

“For the last five years that I’ve been working at Oak Lawn, I’ve had the privilege of serving the families of White County, as well as surrounding counties,” Agee said. “It’s been a blessing to be part of such a wonderful staff of people as well. It’s an honor to be the new manager at Oak Lawn. I’m especially proud to be the first female funeral home manager within our company. I’m aware I have some big shoes to fill, as Jeff Wilson has truly been a remarkable leader to us and helped so many families over the years, but I certainly intend to do my very best to ensure that the families we serve continue to receive superior and professional service and support and get treated with the upmost respect, dignity, and compassion during their times of need. I’m very excited about the future of Oak Lawn Funeral Home, and we all look forward to continuing to serve the families of our community and neighboring communities.”

Agee resides in Gainesboro with her husband, Travis, and their three children, Jaxon, Payson, and Jameson.
