Before he headed to White County Middle School as sixth grader, Jaggar Osborne headed to The University of Memphis to take part in a unique academic and career-oriented development experience.

Osborne was personally nominated by Regina Holloway and ultimately selected by the NYLF team, to represent Woodland Park Elementary School in this summer’s National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM, a program that enables students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

The NYLF Pathways to STEM is a part of the Envision by WorldStrides family of programs, which has been empowering extraordinary students to become the best version of themselves through programs which enable them to discover their passion, explore a career, and positively impact their world, for over 35 years and is the largest provider of educational travel and experiences in the United States.

While WorldStrides works with over 50,000 educators each year to help more than 550,000 students see the world, and themselves, in new ways, Osborne is just one of 10 students from White County schools to have participated in the NYLF: Pathways to STEM program since 2005.

Osborne plans to become an engineer one day. In addition to being interested in STEM and robotics, the WCMS student in passionate about sports, playing baseball, football, and basketball in White County.
