On March 19, 1929, Paul E. Culpepper, age 90, went home to be with the God he loved

Mr. Culpepper was born July 4, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.     

Mr. Culpepper served a short time in the United States Army following the end of World War II.  He worked as a design engineer for Chrysler Corporation for 30 years. 

In 1986, he and his wife, Juline, retired to Cookeville where he could spend time with his children and grandchildren. Mr. Culpepper was a very active member of Faith Baptist Church, in Sparta, where he served as treasurer for many years. 

The family expresses their thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Meadows Senior Community, in Bellevue, and Caris Healthcare for the care provided to Mr. Culpepper

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Juline (Lee) Culpepper; sons, John Culpepper (Luane), of Signal Mountain, Gary Culpepper (Tammy), of Nashville; daughter, Carol Haremski (Mike), of Knoxville; and six grandchildren, Mary Claire Culpepper, Davis Culpepper, Caroline Culpepper, Wesley Culpepper, Katie Haremski, and Steven Haremski.

An outdoor funeral service will begin at 2:45 p.m., March 23, 2021, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home, in Cookeville.  Visitation will be 2-2:45 p.m., prior to the service.
