Piney Volunteer Fire Department responds to crash

On June 17, 2022 Piney Volunteer Fire Department responded to a wreck with injuries, on Baker Mountain Road, near the old Highland Church. The driver left the roadway after over correcting and hit a tree. The driver was injured and transported to a local hospital by Van Buren County Emergency Medical Service. Spencer Fire And Rescue also responded but was cancelled before arriving on scene. Van Buren County Sheriff Department also responded.
