Rachel Payne promoted at First Freedom Bank

Rachel Payne, of Sparta, has been promoted to Bank Officer and Assistant Manager at the Algood office of First Freedom Bank, announced John Lancaster, chairman and CEO. She previously served as a personal banker at the Cookeville Office.

“We are excited about and for Rachel,” stated Lancaster, “She is very deserving of this oppor-unity and will do extremely well.”

Prior to joining First Freedom, Payne had worked in the financial industry for three years and in local government for one year. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration / finance from Tennessee Tech, in 2020. Payne is also a mentor for the tnAchieves program, where she works with high school seniors to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for the Tennessee Promise and the Tennessee Hope scholarships.

Payne currently resides in her hometown of Sparta. She is planning her wedding for Oct. 1, 2022.
