On April 14, 2022, Sparta-White County Rescue Squad was called to the scene of a rescue at Virgin Falls State Natural Area, which was the same location as another rescue performed March 20. According to Charlie Tollison, assistant rescue squad chief, volunteers used the same crossing to move the victim to the side-by-side to take her to the ambulance

On behalf of the rescue squad, Tollison thanked the agencies that provided mutual aid and assisted at the scene: Cumberland County Rescue Squad, Cumberland County Fire Department, Crossville City Fire Department, Crossville-Cumberland Emergency Management Agency, Eastland Volunteer Fire Department, BonDeCroft Volunteer Fire Department, White County Emergency Medical Service, members of Sparta-White County Rescue Squad, and Tennessee State Park rangers.
