Richard Steven Clark, 77, of Sparta, passed away June 20, 2020, at his farm.
Mr. Clark was born July 11, 1942, in Overton County, to B.C. Clark and Stella Maynard Clark.
He had served in the Tennessee National Guard.
Mr. Clark was loved by all who knew him. He loved to laugh and always had others laughing along with him. Mr. Clark had a servant’s heart and was eager to help anyone in need. He worked hard at anything he did, taking especially good care of his farm, in White County, where he lived most of his life.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kendrick Clark, Fred Clark, Joe Pat Clark; and sisters, Marie Sevier and Bennie Jean Wall.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Jane Swindell Clark, along with their nieces, nephews, and a great many friends.
Funeral will be 6 p.m., June 25, 2020, at Central Church of Christ. Christopher Wiles will officiate. The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m., June 25, at the church.
