Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Copeland, 66, of Crossville, a native of Sparta, passed away Sept. 14, 2020, at Parkwest Medical Center, in Knoxville.
Mr. Copeland was born Feb. 23, 1954, in Sparta, to Lonnie Lee Copeland and Sarah Wenonah Greene Copeland.
He was a good friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jonathan Spakes.
Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his brother, Joe Thomas (Tammy) Copeland, of Sparta; sister, Beverly Ann (Don) Wilson, of Sparta; nieces, Jennifer (Vincent) Ingle, of Georgia, Hayley Brooke Copeland, of Sparta, Ann R. (Chris) Ake, of Sparta, Karen Brandenburg, of Nashville; nephew, Joshua C. Spakes, of Sparta; two aunts, Betty Copeland, Sandra Copeland, both of Sparta; and nurses and staff of Parker House and Hilltoppers.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Sept. 16, 2020, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Copeland Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11 a.m., Sept. 16, at the funeral home. Bro. Freddie Copeland will officiate.
