Shirley Jean Rollins Schreyer, 80, of Stanford, Kentucky, formerly of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away May 29, 2023, at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation.
Born Monday April 12, 1943, in Sparta, she was the daughter of Clifton H. and Catherine M. Lambert Rollins.
Shirley retired from Ingram Book Co., in 1998. She was a member of Lancaster Church of God, in Lancaster, Kentucky, and a former member of East Sparta Church of God, in Sparta, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patsy Sue Rollins, Barbara Clemons; and two brothers, John M. Rollins and Lewis E. Rollins.
Shirley leaves behind her loving husband, Phillip S. Schreyer, of Stanford, Kentucky, to whom she was married 61 years; one daughter, Gwen Fitzpatrick (Mark), of Stanford, Kentucky; one son, James Schreyer (Jamie), of Grants Pass, Oregon; four grandchildren, Adam Fitzpatrick (Melissa), of Stanford, Kentucky, Rachel Fitzpatrick, of Stanford, Kentucky, Phillip Schreyer, of Nashville, Tennessee, Darla Looney, of Doyle, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Blake Fitzpatrick, Riley Fitzpatrick, Noah Fitzpatrick, Theo Fitzpatrick; and five siblings, D. Ralph Rollins (Louise), Sandra Page (Malcolm), Charlotte Payne (Lynn), Charles “Bud” Rollins (Shirley), and Donna Kay Kirby (Don), all of Sparta.
A private viewing will be June 1, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home, in Stanford, Kentucky.
A public graveside service will be noon, June 2, 2023, at New Bon Air Cemetery, in Sparta, Tennessee. Pastor Jerry Barnwell will officiate.
Fox & Friend Funeral Home, in Stanford, Kentucky, is in charge of arrangements.
Hunter Funeral Home, in Sparta, Tennessee, is assisting with the graveside service and burial for Mrs. Schreyer.
