Sparta Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting set for Jan. 6

Sparta Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet at 5 p.m., Jan. 6, 2022, at Sparta City Hall.

Some of the items on the agenda include:

• Ordinance #22-943. An ordinance to make amendments to Title 12 of the Sparta Municipal Code and to adopt the 2018 International Fire Code, 2018 International Building Code, 2018, International Plumbing Code, and 2018 International Mechanical Code. (First reading)
• Authorize the solicitation of proposals to update the design guidelines for the Sparta Historic District
• Approve patrolman for Sparta Police Department
