Sparta, Spencer students named to MTSU’s fall 2023 Dean’s List

More than 6,220 Middle Tennessee State University students are included on the latest dean’s list for their academic achievements for the fall 2023 semester.

Sparta and Spencer students making the list included:

• Heather Cope, of Spencer, majoring in Sociology
• Emma Dodgen, of Sparta, majoring in Physical Education
• Lila Gordon, of Sparta, majoring in Art
• Deanna Lack, of Sparta, majoring in Religious Studies
• Peyton Leftwich, of Sparta, majoring in Exercise Science
• Stacy Scott, of Sparta, majoring in Sociology
• Dylan Simmons, of Spencer, majoring in Journalism
• Calvin Wyatt, of Sparta, majoring in Aerospace

To qualify for this distinction, an undergraduate student must maintain a current semester grade-point average of 3.5 or above and earn at least 12 semester hours.
