Tennessee Bass Federation Youth fishing state tournament

The Tennessee Bass Federation Youth fishing held their state tournament at Chickamauga Lake, on April 3, 2021. Several of the Upper Cumberland Junior anglers participated in the state tournament.

Winners of the junior high division were from Campbell County Middle School, which were Aiden Malone and Anthony Malone, who brought in 6 pounds and 2 ounces. Second place in the junior high division went to Hunter MaCahan and Heath Ferry, of Rhea County Junior anglers, with 5 pounds and 1 ounce. Third place in the junior high division went to Blake James and Turner Tharpe, of Rhea County, with 4 pounds and 8 ounces.

Winners of the high school division went to Caleb Griffin and Bryson Bailey, of the West Tennessee Homeschool Association, with 16 pounds and 13 ounces. Second place in the high school division went to Bryson Sims and John Holloway, of William Blunt High school, with 10 pounds and 2 ounces. Third place went to Addison Young and Emma Sloan, of White County High School, with 9 pounds and 4 ounces. Emma Sloan also took home biggest fish of 6 pounds and 11 ounces in a tiebreaker.
