Future of America is in our hands

 If you read my articles on a regular basis, you will have noted that I regularly take strong issue with the Democrat Party.  I do that for good reason.  In nautical terms, today’s so-called Democrat Party is sailing under “false colors.”  That means they are operating under false pretenses to deceive others and hide the true nature of their intentions.  My description of them as the “Socialist Democrat Party” is not only accurate, it exposes them for what they are; i.e. disciples of the most failed political system in the world, socialism!

The Democrat Party of yesteryear was boarded, taken captive, and enslaved by a cabal (like-minded individuals) made up of Socialists, globalists, political derelicts, lobbyists, foreign-funded interlopers and power-hungry individuals.  Their objective is to change our country into a large Socialist commune run by a large and intrusive central government.  Per their ensnaring propaganda, the citizens of a Socialist state are supposed to have an equal say and share in the wealth.  But, that has never happened. In reality, a Socialist government has the definitive power, and it’s handpicked representatives tell the domineered/obedient citizens what is good and not good for them, what to do, and what will not be tolerated.

As I have stated before, socialism is the transitional step between capitalism and communism.  Briefly put, communism is hardcore socialism, and there is no illusion of democracy.  And, in spite of claims to the contrary, in both Socialist and Communist-run countries, nothing is free.  Life is at an existence level and is without hope of betterment.

The precise day of the changing of the guard from the Democrat Party to the Socialist Democrat Party is not known.  I began to suspect the infiltration and demise of the Democrat Party during the first term of the Barack Obama and Joe Biden administration.  Under these two individuals, our economy plummeted and U.S. companies fled the USA en route to China and other foreign locations to escape increasing taxation and restrictive legislation.  Unemployment rose to levels not seen since the 1970s. China dictated our trade relations with them.  Our national debt soared.  Our military was weak, underfunded, and outclassed in weaponry by our arch enemies.  And shamefully,  our country was deeply divided along racial lines as Obama took every opportunity to divide the country.  He and Joe Biden did nothing to help our large cities prosper economically or control crime.

In the run up to the presidential election, in 2016, it became obvious that there had been a major sea change in the Democrat Party.  Economically, financially, and politically our country was in a precarious situation. We were about to become the newest destitute third-world Socialist country; i.e. a mirror image of Venezuela’s tumultuous and collapsed experiment with socialism.  All the “presumed” new U.S. Head of State Hillary Clinton had to do was win and start keeping all the promises for which her rich foreign friends and countries had reportedly paid her in advance.

The Clinton Foundation, which in reality was nothing more that Bill and Hillary Clinton’s personal bank, was overflowing with money.  In other words, our country had been sold to socialism, contingent on the election of Hillary Clinton as president.

But then along came Donald John Trump.  Once he entered the race and began to attack in force, he exposed the strong and controlling presence of the leftist/Socialist wing of the Democrat Party.  He revealed that there was no longer a true Democrat Party.  It’s unofficial new and more correct franchise moniker is the Socialist Democrat Party.  Although that name is in and of itself an oxymoron, it correctly describes this off-the-track political party.

In the same vein, with the exception of Fox News, Fox and Friends, and some lesser news organizations, the national news media flotilla (television, radio, newspapers, magazines, etc.) are also sailing under “false colors.”  President Trump was the first to call them out and correctly label them the “Fake National News Media.”  Of course, the big corporations that own these giant television broadcast news stations deny that.  They purport to be the same honest, fact-based, and unbiased news organizations of the 1950s and 1960s.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

In the 1950s and 1960s, TV and radio news anchors, which included the likes of Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, and Paul Harvey, were adored and trusted by the American people.  They were literally considered part of each household’s family.  The news they reported was unbiased, factual, and informative. It was left for the TV viewers and the radio audience to interpret the news.  How about that?  We were allowed to think for ourselves.  It was an era that is now longed for.

Nowadays, when I think of “true colors, I think of the American flag and President Donald Trump.  Like many others, I and my wife, a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, have fought for and served that flag and what it stands for.  And, with shared patriotism, President Donald Trump has fought for me and mine as well as for you and yours.  We have all witnessed his battles for us over the past four years.  I know of no other modern day American president who had done more for our country and its citizens than Donald Trump.

There are three refreshing things I like about him.  He is not a career politician.  He is financially independent.  He doesn’t need the job.  In other words, he is immune to self-interest backroom politics and the need for money.  This leaves him free to focus on what is best for our country and its people.  He also has a work ethic second to none.

It has been said that politics is “a blood sport.”  If that is true, Donald Trump is the Rocky Marciano of the sport.  For the younger generation, Rocco Francis Marchegiano, better known as Rocky Marciano, was the undefeated  heavyweight boxing champion of the world during the period 1947-1955.  He had 49 professional fights and never lost.  In 43 of those 49 fights, he knocked his opponent out.  Why didn’t I compare him with the sensational Mohamed Ali?  I would have, but unlike Rocky Marciano, Ali did lose a few fights.  Neither Marciano nor Trump have lost a fight.

If you are looking for a for real person sailing under “true colors” in this election year, it is President Donald Trump.  Remember that on election day – Tues., Nov. 3, 2020.
