The resurrection of Jesus Christ

There has been a controversy over the resurrection of Jesus ever since it took place.

ACTS 4:37-41 says that WORD, ye KNOW, which was published throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism, which John preached; how GOD anointed  Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in JERUSALEM; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: him (Jesus Christ) GOD raised up the third day, and showed JESUS openly; not to all the people, but to WITNESSES chosen before of God, even to us ( the apostles and others) who did eat and drink with him after HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.

ACTS 4: 32,33 says and the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things common. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and great grace was upon them all.

ACTS 1:8-15 says but ye shall receive POWER, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you: and ye shall be WITNESSES unto JESUS in Jerusalem, and in all JUDEA, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. AND WHEN HE HAD SPOKEN THESE THINGS, WHILE THEY  BEHELD, HE WAS TAKEN UP, AND A CLOUD RECEIVED HIM OUT OF THEIR SIGHT. And while they looked steadfastly towards heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel. Which also said, Ye men of Ga15lilee why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, the number of names together were about a hundred and twenty. If Jesus was not the man taken up into heaven, because he was not resurrected, then who was the man taken up?

Luke 24: 23-26 says and when they found NOT HIS BODY, they came saying, that had also seen a vision of ANGELS WHICH SAID THAT JESUS WAS ALIVE. And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said, but him they saw not. Then he said unto them, O FOOLS, AND SLOW OF HEART TO BELIEVE ALL THAT THE PROHETS HAVE SPOKEN. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? Verse 25 says You are such FOOLS. YOU FIND IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE ALL THAT THE PROPHETS WROTE IN THE SCRIPTURES!! Do you really BELIEVE THAT GOD AND JESUS would lie and YOU become FOOLS? ONLY fools do not believe GOD`S WORD because God`s word is truth.

I CORINTHIANS 15:3-8,11-22,25-28 says for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that he was seen of James then of all the apostles. And last , he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. Therefore, whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain, Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. Christ is reigning over his kingdom today.
