Things that will continue to make you go hmmm

There has been so much just plain insanity in the last few weeks that it is becoming clearer that the inmates are in charge of the asylum. So, I thought I would just bullet point a few of the crazier notions.

• This week, after many days of delay, the House finally followed up the Senate and voted to give our Supreme Court justices the additional security leftists in the country and their ilk make necessary. Twenty-seven Democrat House members voted against security for Supreme Court Justices. Reasonable Democrats, one and all I am told, and a 100 percent score from the squad. Not a single squad member, many of whom made the extra security necessary, voted to protect our Supreme Court Justices. Don’t talk to me about “reasonable Democrats” when these members are re-elected! Hmmm…
• Some question why Americans are not willing to accept gun control laws. Most who do so have little knowledge of guns or the proposed laws. Most of the time, the gun law proposals have little or nothing to do with the mass shootings that Democrats try to use to compel their passage. Here’s an example of a few of President Joe’s ideas. First, he wants to make gun manufacturers liable when someone buys a gun and uses it illegally. Putting aside the windfall profits that would entail for the trial lawyers (Democrat biggest supporters), this makes no sense. Do we also want to make car companies liable for bad or drunk drivers? How about ax manufacturers? Are they guilty of something in manufacturing axes? The three top methods for murder are guns (including suicide), knives or something sharp, and suffocation. Just think, we could get rid of Mike Lindell, the pillow man, by suing him when murderers use his pillow to suffocate someone! On I could go, but haven’t we seen how ridiculous this is already? Why do Americans oppose gun control? Because Americans recognize a con when they see one? Hmmm…
• During the January 6 attempt by Democrats to keep Donald Trump from running in 2024, they are getting caught, once again, doctoring evidence. Really, don’t they know we will catch them? Videos shown of President Trump’s speech that day carefully edit out the part where he instructs everyone to “peacefully and patriotically” make their concerns known. Oh, and Ray Epps. One of the ringleaders that has become a shadowy figure due to the FBI providing cover for him. They edited the footage of him calling for everyone to “go inside the Capitol. They need help!” Despite all this evidence of his guilt, no charges against him have been filed, and he has not been brought forward for questioning. Many think he is one of more than seven FBI informers (planners?) who financed the operation, promoted the operation, planned the operation, and escaped any blame for the operation. Hmmm…
• And just to kind of cap the night, one of the House members, Tom Rice, who voted to impeach Donald Trump, has just lost his primary in South Carolina! For a guy the Democrats keep telling us is not supported by the people of this country, he sure seems to win a lot of the time! Hmmm…
• Folks, these primary wins are very important because they inform the swamp that folks that have held a seat in the House or Senate for years, can no longer count on name recognition and a big war chest from the party to pull them over the finish line, regardless of how poorly they have represented their constituents. These inter-party fights show that folks, like me, that have been active in Republican politics but angry with the swamp creatures of the establishment, are beginning to get some small measure of control over the swap creature re-election machine! Fight on!
