Thomas "Glenn" Rollins Sr., 78, of Sparta, passed away Jan. 7, 2021, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, in Sparta.
Mr. Rollins was born Dec. 19, 1942, in Sparta. He was the son of Tommie Rollins and Martha McBride Rollins.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Rollins worked at Thomas Industries for 46 years. He loved White County basketball and UT sports. Mr. Rollins loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Marie Bryant Rollins, of Sparta; daughter, Kim Holman (Rex), of Sparta; sons, Thomas Rollins, of Sparta, Bobby Rollins (April), of Sparta; grandchildren, Dustin Holman (Courtney), Heather Jolly (Zach), Adyson Rollins, Aidan Rollins, Braden Rollins; great-grandchildren, Thatcher Holman, Mavery Jolly; sister, Carolyn Carr, of Sparta; and brother, Charles Rollins, of Chattanooga.
Funeral will be 1 p.m., Jan. 12, 2021, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in New Bon Air Cemetery. Jack Chadwell will officiate. The family will welcome friends 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Jan. 12, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers to serve are Zach Jolly, Rex Holman, Dustin Holman. Paul Carr, Greg Carr, and Greg Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers to serve are J.C. Smith and Bobby Clark
