Treva Marie Henry Geer, 88, of Sparta, passed away April 6, 2022, at her home.
Mrs. Geer was born Dec. 19, 1933, to Irvin Monroe Henry and Maude Jane Cravens Henry.
She had worked several years at Sparta Shirt Factory and also retired from Wagner Electric. She was a member of Plainview Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, quilting, traveling with her friends, going to yard sales, and taking care of her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Geer; brothers, Morgan, Clifford, Willard, and Clarence Henry; and sisters, Pauline Herron, Dimple Britt, and Beulah Howell.
Survivors include her children, Benny (Julie) Geer, Jeffrey (Barbara) Geer, Timothy (Freeda) Geer, Donald (Narcisa) Geer, Jana (Mark) McKee; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several step-children; sisters-in-law, Jo Jarvis, Ann Price, Dorothy Speck; numerous nieces and nephews; and canine companion, Sandy.
Funeral service was 4 p.m., April 9, 2022, at Plainview Church of Christ, with burial in Plainview Cemetery, on Highway 84. Bishop Tim Geer and Plainview Preacher Earl Alverson officiated.
Pallbearers were Justin Geer, Lucas Geer, Tom McKee, Casey Geer, Randy Anderson, Conner Anderson, Jett Drouillard, and Garrett Robinson
Honorary pallbearers were Mark McKee, Greg Wilson, Delano Drouillard, Robert Henry, and Mike Henry.
