“If Upper Cumberland county mayors are waiting until Covid-19 cases present a serious threat to public health before issuing a mask requirement, the time they have been waiting for is here. “Regardless of leadership inaction at the federal, state, and local level, protect yourself and others important to you,” Gray continued. “Protect the health care professionals on the frontline at our hospitals.  Do your part to keep our businesses and schools open and operating safely. If you are planning to attend indoor events with people who do not live in your household this fall and winter, do your part to keep people safe. Protect family members at risk over the holidays. Masks do slow the virus. Wear them.”
