Veterans Day Parade and Salute to the Troops, on Nov. 12

Please join Mayor Jerry Lowery on Liberty Square, on Nov. 12, in honor of all veterans.

“Stand proud Sparta - as mayor, I am excited to be a part of this for our veterans and our community,” Mayor Lowery said. “Mark your calendar for Nov. 12, 2022.”

9 a.m. – Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m., at White County High School

10 a.m. – Parade begins at 10 a.m. and proceeds to Metcalf Park (next to American Legion Building, on Liberty Square) for program.

11 a.m. – Program at Metcalf Park, on Liberty Square

Noon-2:30 p.m. – Lunch and free concert by “Shattered” at the amphitheater, on Liberty Square

Lunch provided by City of Sparta and prepared by Town Creek Chuckwagon.

Parade and program sponsored by American Legion Post #99 and Veterans Museum of White County.
