Warriorettes “rain threes” at Walker

The Warriorettes traveled to Cleveland Tennessee, on Dec. 12, in a non-conference matchup against the Mustangs of Walker Valley.

The Mustangs came out in hopes of giving the Warriorettes their first loss of the season.  In their attempt to corral the girls from Sparta, the Warriorettes came out firing on all cylinders and taking a lead early and never looked back.  The Warriorettes set a single game record of three-point shots made with 16 shots made from beyond the arc.  The Warriorettes had hit 14 threes two weeks ago against DeKalb County. On Dec. 12, they shot a blistering 16 of 28 for 57 percent from the three-point stripe.
