Warriors’ game against Macon cancelled due to severe weather

The White County High School Warriors traveled up to Lafayette take on the Macon County High School football team, on Oct. 23. The game got underway as the Warriors attempted a surprise onside kick to open the game. Macon County recovered but was forced to punt the ball away. Neither team could get any momentum going on offense as the defenses held strong.

As the rains became stronger and severe weather hit, the game was put on a weather delay due to lightning in the area.  The severe weather continued, and the game was then canceled due to the weather.  At press time, the game was not rescheduled for a future date, with only one week remaining in the season. 

The Warriors play Goodpasture at home on Oct. 30.
