The White County Warriors flexed their muscles on a rare Saturday night game and defeated the Cumberland County Jets by a score of 45-12.  Sophomore Malachi Dowell led the Warriors as the Warrior quarterback with a strong running and passing attack that soundly beat the Jets football team.

The Warriors took the opening kickoff, and, with 9:08 on the clock, Dowell broke free for a 46-yard  touchdown run.  The extra point try saw a busted play turn into a two-point conversion when Jaden Strode picked up the loose ball and found Kade Clark in the end zone for the successful conversion making the score 8-0.  Cumberland County fumbled the ball back to the Warriors on their second play of the night.  The Warrior offense punched the ball in as Clark rumbled his way into the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown run.  The extra point by Caleb Bailey made the score 15 -0.

After a turnover on downs and then a punt by the Warriors, Cumberland County scored on a 45-yard touchdown pass.  The conversion was no good, and, with 10:52 to play, in the second quarter, the score was 22-6, with the Warriors leading the Jets.
