The Warriors traveled to Livingston Nov. 7 to play in a scrimmage against the Wildcats.  Coach Eric Mitchell stated the team played solid but still has much to work on.

“We still do not have the football players on the court yet, but overall the team did well,” said Mitchell.

Coach Michael Dodgen and the Warriorettes traveled to Murfreesboro last week to play a couple of scrimmage games at Middle Tennessee Christian Academy.

Coach Dodgen stated, “We had some bright spots and some moments that we must get better at.  But it is still early, and we have time to improve. Proud of the team effort, and we will work this week and see how much we can improve before our playday next Saturday.”

Riverdale beat the Warriorettes by nine, and the Warriorettes beat USN by 13.  The Junior Varsity Warriorettes beat Cannon County and Brentwood Academy.

Next Saturday, the Warriorettes will host a playday and will play Bradley County at noon and then play Sevier County at 3 p.m.

The full schedule will be in the Nov. 14 edition of The Expositor.
