WCMS 7th grade basketball results

On Nov. 4,  the White County Middle School seventh grade Warriors traveled to Pine Haven to compete in basketball.  The Warriors lost the game to Pine Haven by a score of 38 to 29.  Free throws created a problem for the Warriors.  They made four free throws while attempting 15.  Gage Stephenson led the Warriors with 11 points.  Tripp Pinion scored eight points.  Keaun Lewis put in six points.  Nathaniel Griffin and Lucas Dickerson scored two points each in the loss.

On Nov. 5, the Warriors took on Cannon County’s seventh grade team.  Extra time had to be played to determine the winner of this game.  Gage Stephenson scored a basket in overtime for two of his 13 points to seal the win for the Warriors in overtime.  Tripp Pinon had 18 points in the win.  Chase Stephens had nine points, Jordan Brown and Nathaniel Griffin had three points each.  Keaun Lewis scored two points.  The team went seven for 13 from the free throw line.
