On Jan. 16, 2021, the Warriorettes traveled to Shelbyville to compete for the CTC Championship. After the first, the score was 8-9 with the Warriorettes trailing. The Warriorettes also trailed by the end of the second, 18-19. Ava Jones and Kennedy Billings led scoring in the first half with 10 and 4. During the second half, the foul count was 14-3, not in favor of the Warriorettes. By the end of the third, the Warriorettes trailed again 25-27. The final was 35-30. Jones led scoring with 17. The Warriorettes played their heart out, but outside factors just didn’t go their way. They still did well enough to move onto the Region tournament, which starts Feb. 1.

The Warriors lost in the second round, but finished in third place. They will also move onto the regions because they finished second in the season.
