WCMS sixth grade basketball

BThe sixth grade Warriorette basketball season is underway.  The Warriorettes won their first game on Oct. 20 against Coffee County by a score of 37-21.  Bella Winningham led the scoring with eight points.  Kyla Fox scored six points.  Hannah Haley, Addie Cocke, and Mollie McDowell scored four points each.  Lilly Parker scored three points.  Lakelyn Gratsy, Gracie Clark, and Chole Anderson finished with two points.  The Warriorettes went 3-6 from the line.

The sixth grade Warriorettes played Upperman Middle School on Oct. 21.  The Warriorettes dominated the game and outscored Upperman 42-13.  Chole Anderson led Sparta with nine points.  Bella Winningham and Ashlyn Gibson scored eight points each in the win.  Hannah Haley put in seven points.  Lakelyn Grasty scored four points.  Gracie Clark, Anita Hartawan, and Lilly Parker each put in two points. The Warriorettes were 3-6 from the free throw line.

On Oct 24, the Warriorettes played Pine Haven in a basketball matchup.  Sparta dominated the game and won by a 55-18 score.  Bella Winningham led the Warriorettes with 12.  Chole Anderson had 10 points, and Lakelyn Grasty scored eight points. Hannah Haley put in seven points.  Gracie Clark had six points.  Addy Cocke had four points.  Kyra Fox, Anita Hartawon, and Lilly Parker had two points each in the win.  The Warriorettes went 6-10 from the free throw stripe.  Emma Copper led Pine Haven with 14 points.

On Oct. 28, the sixth grade Warriorette basketball team dominated Allardt sixth grade team by a score of 51-10.  The score at halftime was 33-1 in favor of the Warriorettes.  Chole Anderson led the team with eight points followed by Bella Winningham and Lakelyn Grasty, who scored seven points each.  Addison Dodgen, Mollie McDowell, and Lilly Parker scored 6 points each.  Hannah Haley put in four points.  Gracie Clark had three points.  Addy Cocke and Ashlyn Gibson scored two points each.  The Warriorettes went three for 10 from the free throw stripe.  S. Mitchell led Allardt with four points.
