In an exciting match, on Aug. 22, 2024, the White County Middle School volleyball Warriorettes showcased their skill and determination, defeating Stone Memorial in two closely contested sets, 25-21 and 25-18.
Coach Kaleigh Baska praised her team for their effort and teamwork, which was evident throughout the match. The Warriorettes demonstrated their offensive prowess, with key contributions from several players. Harper Broyles and AlliBeth Stebing led the charge with four kills each, effectively finding openings in Stone Memorial’s defense.
Defensively, Kaylin Cunningham stood out with four digs, helping the Warriorettes maintain their lead and counter Stone Memorial’s attacks. Additionally, Katelyn Howard contributed significantly with one ace and five digs, showcasing her versatility on the court.
Annie Burrier also made her mark with a well-rounded performance, recording one kill, one ace, one dig, and one block. Madison Henry added another dimension to the team’s defense with one kill and one block, while Treeah Powell contributed with one ace and two digs.
