What kind of father you are?

EPHESIANS 5:22-28. Wives, submit yourselves unto your OWN HUSBAND, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the HEAD of the wife, even as Christ is the HEAD of the CHURCH, and he is the savior of the body. Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So, ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Ephesians 6:1-4, 10. Children obey your parents in the Lord. For this is right. Honor thy father and mother which is the first commandment with promise. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Finally, my  brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

What kind of father was Charles Darwin that told God he was the biggest liar that ever lived? Mr. Darwin taught that the earth over billions of years came into existence by natural forces trees, plants, and bushes just came up out of the ground after the waters were divided. Little amoebas began to crawl out of the water, and dinosaurs began to roam the earth with all the other animals. Then one day the apes appeared after millions of years man and woman appeared by evolution.

What kind of father was Cain that murdered his brother Able? What kind of father was Jonah when he was told to go to Nineveh and took off in the other direction? Do we need big fish to swallow men today to make them what God wants them to be? What kind of father was Peter that cursed and swore and said he did not even know Jesus Christ after being with him three years?

John 8:32 and ye shall know the truth ( the holy scriptures) and the truth shall make you free. What does a daddy do when he is to teach his children the truth of the Bible? What do fathers and mothers do when a child asks them, please tell me about Jesus. Do fathers today pray that he and his family will be filled with the knowledge of Jesus in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that his family might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God as they study the Bible to prove thyself unto God and be strengthened with all might according to the glorious power unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; and be delivered from the power of darkness, and into the kingdom of his dear son.

I Timothy 5:8. If any man provides not for his own especially of his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. This means that he is to provide food, clothing, shelter and study with him the word of God.

Hebrews 13:5. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have.

Philippians 4:11. Paul said I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I Timothy 6:8 . Having food and raiment, let us be content. God meant for fathers and his family to be content with food and raiment instead of spending all of our time on cell phones, tv and video games.
